Ever since I changed from a trial version of windows to an official copy I have been having problems with my vent. It sometimes works perfectly fine, but at random times it can delay what someone is saying by a significant amount (the record so far is about 1-2 minutes). When it eventually spits out what the person said there is no disruption, they sound perfectly normal and crystal clear. However, this can lead to problems of it sounding like two people are talking on top of each other (sometimes I can even hear the answers to questions before I hear the question).
EDIT:forgot to mention that if someone is delayed I can look at the vent window and hear them even though vent knows that their mic is closed at the time and I can still hear them if I close vent completely

Anyone have any clue as to what is happening or how to fix it?

Are you using direct sound? (Setup -> Voice)

Tried setting the vent priority to high? (Setup -> Misc -> Process priority class)
